Rust+ not working: start here
Rust+ won't pair, says server offline, sends no notifications, or keeps asking you to sign in? Find your exact symptom and jump to the fix that matches it.
Won't pair or stuck on pairing
You press Pair with server and nothing shows up on your phone, or the app sits on Pairing forever. The seven causes, in the order that finds yours fastest.
Pair button missing
The in-game Rust+ menu says disabled, or there is no Pair with server button? That is the server, not your app: either the admin turned Rust+ off or the server failed Facepunch's connectivity test and switched it off itself. How to confirm, and what the admin must change.
Server shows offline
The server is up, you are on it, and Rust+ still shows it offline. That message means your phone could not open a direct connection to the server's companion port. Here is why, and what fixes it.
No notifications on your phone
Paired and online, but smart alarm triggers, offline deaths and teammate logins never notify you. Notifications take a different path from live data. Check it in this order.
Please sign in loop
